About Laurel
Laurel is an emerging actor and singer based in NYC and Boston, with a strong basis in Musical Theatre.

Laurel has had a passion for Musical Theatre for as long as she could remember. At 4 years old she began doing shows at her local children's theatre, where her parents put her because she would not stop forcing them to watch her do random performances she did for them. She has not passed up an opportunity to preform since, and began classical vocal training at age 11. Somehow she managed to do nearly 60 shows before moving to NYC 4 years ago to get a certificate in Musical Theatre from American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Laurel is a gorgeous classical soprano with a mix belt. She is your classic, charming, and quirky ingenue with a genuine kindness that shines through all her performances. Although she deeply loves material of all kinds, golden age is where she truly shines. Growing up, Laurel's grandmother would play strictly Julie Andrews Christmas albums for the holidays. She would always tell Laurel stories about how when she was in college she got to see all of the original broadway golden age productions for $.25 standing room tickets. It goes without saying that her grandmother would have a strong influence on the woman she would become.

Since recently graduating, Laurel has participated in shows such as My Fair Lady On The River and Hello, Dolly! On The River (JWM Theatricals), Candy Cottage Immersive Experience (KGM Theatricals), an equity reading of the new musical TESLA through The York Theatre Company, and various concerts and showcases at Chelsea Table, Green Room 42, Don't Tell Mama, ViceVersa, and more.

Theatrics aside, Laurel is a proud new englander with a deep fondness for nature and the outdoors and would consider herself an environmentalist. She has a deep connection with both her Irish and Jewish roots, and loves learning about the history of the Celts and perhaps a bit about their witchcraft too. She also enjoys many other forms of art, including drawing, photography and watercolors. She also dabbles a bit in ukulele!

Laurel is incredibly grateful and honored to be able to pursue her life's passion, and cannot wait to see what the world has in store for her.
